My wife and I, both senior citizens, have had many holidays in many different parts of the world but both agree that our stays at Hotel Caria rank among the very best. We discovered Turkey for the first time three years ago and once found we are loathe to go elsewhere for our holidays. The Caria is ideally situated, being really close to the river and the boats which take one to the beach or the lake. Although in the town itself, there is no disturbance to guests at this hotel and all shops, restaurants, buses, Saturday market are really easily accessible from here. Would definitely recommend and will without fail be returning.

Very friendly people.hotel is very basic due to it's age but was very clean.I Wouldn't spend a whole week here as there was no pool but it's ideal for a shorter break or in my case just one evening which cost me £18 for a double room which was a bargain. The hotel is ideally situated for all the local bars and restaurants and has a rooftop garden which offers fantastic views of the rock tombs.The owner even took us to the airport as it was cheaper than a taxi despite it being the day after his wedding which says everything about the people!

The most wonderful thing about this Hotel is the Location! some of the rooms look right out on the tombs carved into the cliffs accross the river, and the rooftop terrace has magnificent views of the area - 5 star location for a budget price. The Hotel and the rooms are very clean, the staff is very friendly, helpful and efficient - it's a wonderful family atmosphere. If you want to get your English Breakfast and 4 or 5 stars on the front - then go elsewhere, but if you want to savour the local cuisine and partake of the local lifestyle and atmosphere then you can't do better than this Hotel. I had an absolutley wonderful time there and will return many times in the future.

Location, location, location. The views from some of the balconies of the Kings Tombs are the best in Dalyan. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good value if you are on a budget but not very luxurious.
